Saturday 6-27 Ride

Here is the proposed route for Saturday.  Please let me know if you want me to make any changes to the route.  Those that are planning on riding LOTOJA please try to make it.  We will be working on a tighter pace line as well as discussing strategies for keeping our group together during the ride at LOTOJA.  Bring LOTS of food and water.  We will leave from the school at 7am.

Remember that the 3rd of July will be the ride up and around Nebo and back through Nephi.  We will be leaving at 5:30 so that we can ride in the cool weather as well as get back at a respectable time to spend some time with our families on the holiday.

    Is it really only 90 miles? Wow, Hobble Creek and West Mtn.

    I like the idea of starting close to home rather than going up to Heber and then riding; that adds 2+ hours to the ride day.

    Let’s stay close to home. I would like to leave earlier as we have afternoon commitments. Is 6:00 or 6:30 too early?

    BTW, we rode the right fork of Hobble Creek late last year and it was really rough. We might consider the left fork.
